Melissa Aquino-Villamin, MD, FPCR (Assistant Head, Arthritis Center)
Dr. Melissa Aquino-Villamin is the Chief of Section of Rheumatology in the Department of Internal Medicine, Delos Santos Medical Center. She finished her Fellowship in Rheumatology at St. Luke’s Medical Center. She took her residency training and graduated as Chief Resident of the Department of Medicine at St. Luke’s Medical Center. She had her musculoskeletal ultrasound training under Professor Walter Grassi at the Università Politecnica delle Marche in Ancona, Italy; as well as in various Musculoskeletal Ultrasound (MSUS) Courses of the European League Against Rheumatism (EULAR) and the Asia Pacific League Against Rheumatism (APLAR). She finished her medical degree at the University of Santo Tomas Faculty of Medicine and Surgery.
