How would you know if you have arthritis?
People with arthritis complain of pain with movement of the involved joint. The affected joints will also be swollen and stiff. If the hips or knees are involved, walking gradually becomes difficult and painful. Accompanying symptoms such as fever, rash, muscle weakness, and numbness may signify a more serious problem and would require a consult with an arthritis specialist.
